Welcome
I am an experienced integrative counsellor and a Senior Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) with BUPA recognition. I am also a Senior Accredited member and Accredited Supervisor of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP).
As a counsellor, depending on what is right for you at the time, I offer psychodynamic and person-centred theories as well as CBT, humanistic, and relational. Counselling can be short, long-term, or time-limited for individual adults from 16 years upwards with a range of issues, including abuse, anxiety, bereavement, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationships, self harm, and stress.
In addition to counselling, I offer supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists for mental health and counselling charities, schools, and the helping professions on an individual basis and in groups.
My private practice is based in a quiet, safe, and comfortable setting with parking in Pluckley, near Ashford. Sessions are available during the day and early evenings, either face-to-face, Zoom, or on the telephone, with the option of Zoom or telephone if you are unable to attend in person for a session.
Testimonials
Counselling: "Thank you for your support and compassion over the last year. You provide a safe, very caring, and non-judgemental space, where I feel able to be myself. You are very much appreciated."
Supervision: "I have felt safe and supported throughout my placement. I truly appreciate the guidance and care from you which allowed me to gain confidence and discover my individual path as a new counsellor. I have always felt able to bring my full self to supervision and to share freely..... gaining a valuable understanding of what effective supervision looks like, and the importance of engaging fully in the supervision process."
